Track Record
Teams led by EarthWater’s President have completed feasibility studies and development projects in over 40 countries around the world.
Several case studies are detailed in Robert A. Bisson’s book, Modern Groundwater Exploration (2004).
Wells developed currently pump in excess of 50 MGDs (189,000 m3/d) globally.
A sample of projects completed includes:
- Afghanistan (2003): Under a USAID funded program, EarthWater identified 20 billion gallons per day of untapped, renewable groundwater (75 mm m3/d).
- Trinidad (2001 - 2002): Discovered >250 MGDs (946,400 m3/d); produced 20 MGDs (75,700 m3/d) within two years.
- Tobago (2000): Discovered >50 MGDs (189,300 m3/d); produced 5 MGDs (18,900 m3/d) within one year.
- Sudan (USAID, 1987 - 1990): Discovered more than 10 MGDs (37,900 m3/d); No production wells drilled; terminated by the US State Department after the 1989 coup d'état.
- Somalia (USAID, 1984 - 1986): Discovered 20 MGDs (75,700 m3/d); produced 2 MGDs (7,600 m3/d) within one year; civil war put project into Force Majeure.
- Seabrook, NH (1981): Discovered and produced 1.5 MGDs within one year (5,700 m3/d).
- Salem, NH (1981): Discovered and produced 2.0 MGDs within one year (7,600 m3/d).
